Hard to believe that 6 years ago today, was one of the most tragic days in United Sates history....
The community, culture, and people of New Orleans was ravished by natural (and some believe....intentional) causes! Hurricane Katrina broke not only the livelihoods but also the homes of this city, and it hasn't been the same since!
The carnage and heartbreaking footage left behind details the incredible tragedy of that ordeal and the un-bareable days that followed!!!
Whats yet even still harder to believe is that the city has YET to fully recover. We (those who haven't been through deeply trying times such as these) take so much for granted in these hard economic times without realizing that things could be so much worse for us!!
We must acknowledge and empathize with those around us...realizing that we are all the same...we are all family!! Our question here at the V spot is to the folks who have suffered yet persevered against the downfall of Katrina...Do you believe your life and the person whom you have become, is better OR worse ever since the storm??
